Celebration of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death

To celebrate the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death, an exhibition was held at the Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica in Florence to honor the major areas of work of one of the most important figures in Italian history.

Leonardo, a man of genius and a universal talent of the Renaissance, is considered one of the greatest minds in human history. He fully embodied the spirit of his time, bringing it to its highest forms of expression across the most diverse fields of art and knowledge. He was a scientist, philosopher, architect, painter, sculptor, draftsman, theorist, set designer, mathematician, anatomist, botanist, musician, geologist, engineer, and designer.
